Deadpool & Wolverine Movie Review: Script Analysis

Star Performance The story might be stupid, and the plot scattered, but those issues can be put aside, thanks to the performances within the film, especially the ones coming from Reynolds and Jackman. Reynolds, for example, continues to prove that giving himself this role was the best decision of his career, as his antics fit the character perfectly. He is just hilarious and his stream of consciousness comedy is very effective, and he also can bring it home when it comes to the more sentinel parts of the films. Meanwhile, seeing Hugh Jackman back in the role that made him famous feels just right, especially now that his suit is more comic accurate, and that his acting just nails the character effortlessly. Jackman might have been out with Logan, but Deadpool & Wolverine makes a case for him to continue to play the role even as he gets older. We really don’t need another Wolverine, and it is, at this point, almost impossible to think of another actor who could do the character justice.

Deadpool & Wolverine Review – 'Marvel has found its mojo again'

Deadpool & Wolverine Movie Review: Star Performance

While the story may be silly and the plot disjointed, these issues are overshadowed by the stellar performances, particularly from Reynolds and Jackman. Reynolds proves once again that taking on this role was the best decision of his career. His antics perfectly match the character, delivering hilarious and effective stream-of-consciousness comedy, while also nailing the more sentimental moments.

On the other hand, seeing Hugh Jackman return to the role that made him famous feels just right. His more comic-accurate suit and effortless portrayal of the character are spot-on. Although Jackman seemed to have retired with Logan, Deadpool & Wolverine makes a strong case for him to continue in the role, even as he ages. At this point, it’s hard to imagine anyone else doing justice to Wolverine.

Deadpool & Wolverine Movie Review: The Last Word

Deadpool & Wolverine feels reminiscent of Marvel’s golden age. If the film succeeds, it could become a blueprint for future installments. With the Russo Brothers returning to direct the next two Avengers films, it seems Marvel is on the path to recovery. Let’s hope the lessons learned stick.

Shaitaan Movie Review

Shaitaan Movie Review:

Star Cast: Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, Jyotika, Janki Bodiwala, Anngad Raaj

Director: Vikas Bahl

 Shaitaan (2024) - Movie | Reviews, Cast & Release Date - BookMyShow

R Madhavan's portrayal of Vanraj is truly haunting, as he brings an air of mystery and spookiness to his character, leaving you unsettled throughout the story. However, there are moments where the actor goes a bit overboard. Ajay Devgn's Kabir in this film is reminiscent of his role in the Drishyam movies, but it lacks the cleverness we saw in Vijay Salgaonkar. Ajay delivers a solid performance, although the story doesn't provide him with many opportunities to shine. Janki Bodiwala shines as Janvi, skillfully balancing the fine line between being possessed and terrified. Jyotika also does a decent job, but her character lacks the depth that Ajay's character possesses.

Shaitaan had the makings of a phenomenal supernatural thriller, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. While the first half was decent, it was the second half that turned into a jumbled and perplexing mess. The climax, rather than leaving you satisfied, leaves a bitter taste in your mouth, leaving you feeling deceived and longing for the meaningful answers that never come.

Arun Matheswaran embarks on a journey to create a world where the audacious courage of a betrayer turned rebel is put to the test!

Captain Miller Movie Review :

After the mind-boggling question of "Why did Katappa kill Baahubali?", there's another burning question that demands immediate attention - why do South Indian filmmakers have an obsession with making movies that stretch over three hours? Now, don't get me wrong, I understand that filmmakers are like architects of their own worlds, but do we really want to spend so much time just to get to the point? It can get a tad bit tedious. However, Arun Matheswaran has managed to create a captivating world that is worth every minute of its runtime. Unable to delve into the controversial real-life Tamil Eelam liberation struggle stories, he instead crafts a world where the audacious bravery of a traitor-turned-revolutionary is put to the test.

While Siddhartha Nuni's cinematography may not quite match the extraordinary vision set by Arun Matheswaran's direction and screenplay (co-written with Madhan Karky), the film's ultra-realistic portrayal, much like Sonchiriya, immerses you in its rawness. And just like Kantara, the village itself becomes a character, drawing you in with its rich cultural significance that is beautifully explored.

Plot Summary:

"12 Fail" revolves around a group of students facing the challenges of high school life, particularly the ups and downs of their academic journey. The story primarily follows a character who experiences failure in various subjects and the subsequent impact on friendships, family, and personal growth.

Review: "Honestly, '12 Fail' attempts to capture the struggles of adolescence and academic pressures, but it falls short in delivering a compelling and original narrative. The plot feels somewhat predictable, relying on clichÊs commonly found in high school dramas. While the theme of overcoming failure is relatable, the execution lacks depth and fails to bring a fresh perspective to the genre.

The characters, though well-acted, seem to fit into stereotypical molds without much room for development. The film could benefit from more nuanced and authentic portrayals of the challenges students face, making the audience connect with the characters on a deeper level.

The pacing is inconsistent, with certain scenes feeling rushed while others drag on, making it challenging to maintain engagement. Additionally, the dialogue occasionally feels forced, lacking the natural flow required to make the interactions feel genuine.

On a positive note, the film does touch upon important themes like resilience, friendship, and self-discovery. Some moments manage to evoke a sense of nostalgia, reminding viewers of their own school experiences.

In conclusion, '12 Fail' has its heart in the right place but struggles to rise above the conventions of its genre. It may resonate with a younger audience due to its relatable themes, but overall, it doesn't offer a unique or memorable cinematic experience."

Remember, this review is entirely fictional, as there is no known movie titled "12 Fail" up until my last knowledge update in January 2022. If "12 Fail" is a real movie released after that date, I wouldn't have information about it.
